Port Tampa Bay Strengthens Its Cyber Resilience

Port Tampa Bay, Florida's largest port, faced the challenge of managing cyber risk associated with its significant growth and diversification. To strengthen its operational resilience, the port sought to evaluate its preparedness against cyber threats and engaged the vendor Abacode for assistance.

Abacode implemented its Cyber Resilience Review, a comprehensive assessment based on the CERT Resilience Management Model. This process evaluated the maturity of the port's cybersecurity capabilities across ten key domains. As a result, Port Tampa Bay improved executive alignment on its cybersecurity posture and enhanced its ability to manage cyber risk during both normal operations and times of crisis. The partnership with Abacode provided the port with clear, actionable plans and instilled confidence in their improved security program.
