VT Miltope Becomes IUID Compliant

VT Miltope, a manufacturer with decades of experience meeting demanding military and industry standards, needed to quickly achieve compliance with the Department of Defense’s IUID policy for a new contract. Working with A2B Tracking, the company had to mark four new devices, verify and validate the labels, and upload the data to the IUID Registry while ensuring the labels would withstand harsh operating conditions from -40°F to 160°F.

A2B Tracking helped VT Miltope implement UC! Web™ and supplied a label printing system with thermal transfer polyester labels to support in-house production of durable, customizable IUID labels. The result was a compliant IUID marking process backed by one point of responsibility, and VT Miltope was able to meet MIL-STD-130N requirements and complete the needed registry and labeling work with confidence.
