Oldenburg Group Incorporated - Customer Case Study

Oldenburg Group Incorporated (OGI), a diversified industrial manufacturing company in Milwaukee, needed to bring a military floating causeway system into compliance with MIL-STD-130 and register numerous serial-managed items in the IUID Registry. The project involved a wide range of large, unique assets made from different materials and intended for harsh environments, and OGI initially struggled with vague contract requirements and a failed attempt with another UID supplier.

A2B Tracking Solutions stepped in with UID expertise, testing support, training, and UID Comply!® software to help OGI identify the right marking method for each item. A2B Tracking helped OGI move from failed adhesive labels to a durable solution using stainless steel plates, epoxy, and specialized labels as appropriate, along with verification, validation, and a Compliance Certification document. The result was successful DCMA inspection, compliance with MIL-STD-130, and readiness to upload data to the IUID Registry for future contracts.
