A2B Tracking worked with the U.S. Air Force to support its IUID labeling and legacy property marking efforts across a large, global enterprise. The Air Force needed an effective way to mark and register legacy and government furnished property, while also managing the complexities of label selection, part preparation, material choice, placement, and serialized data capture.

A2B Tracking implemented a comprehensive part-marking program that included worldwide coordination, intensive training, project management, field support, a train-the-trainer model, web-based materials, and an in-house help desk, along with “Surge Strategies” to handle mid-project changes. The results have included nearly 3 million Class VII assets marked to date and support for up to 221 bases, helping the Air Force improve inventory accuracy, redistribute assets more effectively, and reduce replacement costs.
