Case Study: Subaru Canada achieves faster website performance and cost savings with A10 Networks' AX Series

A A10 Networks Case Study

Preview of the Subaru Case Study

Subaru and A10 Great Performance at a Great Price

Subaru Canada, which supports a national dealer network and sees heavy seasonal web traffic (306,000 visitors and nearly 2 million page views in a single month), needed a modern server load‑balancing solution when its legacy appliance support was up for renewal. The team sought better application acceleration, scalability and a way to consolidate disparate services like web and Exchange without ballooning infrastructure costs.

They deployed A10 Networks’ AX 2500 appliances in an HA pair, leveraging 64‑bit hardware, RAM caching, compression and AX virtualization multi‑tenancy to consolidate environments, reduce the number of ADCs and cut costs (the AX2500 offered strong price/throughput value). The result was dramatically faster page delivery, very low CPU utilization, simplified operations and the capacity to support Subaru’s record sales growth and rising online demand.
