GAIN Capital Deploys A10 ADC to Scale FOREX.com Performance

GAIN Capital, operator of FOREX.com and a global online trading provider, needed to scale its trading platforms to meet rising customer demand. Its existing application delivery controllers were struggling with increased load and SSL bottlenecks—exacerbated by a move to more compute‑intensive 2048‑bit certificates—while the business required instant failover, IPv6 readiness and a full ADC feature set.

After evaluating vendors GAIN deployed A10 ADCs in HA pairs across two New Jersey data centers. The A10 solution delivered roughly 3× SSL transaction capacity, centralized certificate management, sub‑second failover, IPv6 migration tools and no‑license feature access, producing predictable operation, eliminated downtime, lower data center OPEX (space/power) and improved user performance and future scalability.
