Fujitsu Asia Selects A10 Thunder ADC to Provide High-Performance Load-Balancing Service

Fujitsu Asia, the regional headquarters for Fujitsu in ASEAN, needed to standardize and scale cloud-based load‑balancing services (FANICS) as customers expanded across Asia. Key challenges included consolidating disparate ADC appliances to reduce sprawl and total cost of ownership, delivering multi-tenant isolation for many customers, and maintaining rich features and easy management for network engineers.

Fujitsu selected the A10 Thunder 1030S ADC—leveraging ACOS performance, ADP multi-tenancy, aFleX scripting and an industry-standard CLI—and deployed it as the foundation of FANICS. The result is a standardized load‑balancing service that can host hundreds of virtual ADC instances on a single chassis, significantly lowering space and hardware costs, simplifying operations, and meeting performance, functionality and cost objectives while enabling future features like GSLB.
