FFF Enterprises, the nation’s largest distributor of plasma products, vaccines and other biopharmaceuticals, runs MyFluVaccine™, an online portal that lets clinics, pharmacies and hospitals reserve vaccine deliveries. Facing intense seasonal traffic spikes and an unexpected end-of-life announcement for their initial load‑balancer candidate, FFF needed a high-performance, cost-effective solution to preserve portal performance and availability during peak demand.

FFF deployed A10 Networks’ ADC Advanced Traffic Manager (plus Imperva SecureSphere for WAF/PCl compliance) to provide Layer 4–7 load balancing, SSL acceleration/offload, application persistence and aFleX scripting for advanced traffic control.
