CRC Health Group Chooses A10 ADC for Server Load Balancing Solution

CRC Health Group, the largest provider of specialized behavioral health services in the U.S. with 145 facilities and more than 30,000 patients served daily, needed reliable, responsive remote access for staff via Outlook Web Access. Their challenge was to ensure high availability and fast response times for webmail across distributed sites, support secure SSL transactions efficiently, and prepare for future site-to-site failover (GSLB) without adding hardware complexity.

CRC deployed A10 Networks A10 ADC appliances in parallel to load balance HTTP, HTTPS and POP3 traffic and offload SSL, reducing server count and improving transaction speed. The deployment delivered faster web response times, simplified global load‑balancing (GSLB included in the platform) and, combined with A10’s identity management tools, centralized password management that reduced help‑desk calls and increased user productivity.
