Cloud Service and Managed Hosting Provider Delivers Customer Value with High-performance Multi-tenant Application Delivery

Peak Hosting, a managed hosting and private hybrid cloud provider serving large enterprise web properties, faced capacity and operational challenges with legacy Citrix NetScaler load balancers. Rising traffic and customer demands exposed limits in scalability, tenant isolation and self-service—over 25% of support tickets were related to VIP and load-balancing issues—driving the need for a higher-performance, more flexible ADC solution.

Peak replaced its appliances with A10’s 64-bit ADCs using partition-based multi-tenancy and aVCS clustering, giving customers dedicated Application Delivery Partitions, role-based admin, GUI/SNMP visibility and features like TCP connection reuse and RFC1918 overlap support. The deployment empowered customers to self-manage their load balancers, reduced support calls by about 25%, lowered TCO, and improved customer satisfaction and competitive positioning.
