A10 Secures and Optimizes Application Delivery for Mobile TeleSystems India

Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL), which operates MTS India and serves over 10 million wireless subscribers, faced application vulnerabilities, slow page response times and legacy infrastructure that limited availability and scalability across its data centers. The IT team needed a secure, high‑performance delivery solution that would meet SLAs, support rapid year‑on‑year growth, and eliminate exposure to external attacks.

SSTL deployed four A10 Thunder ADC appliances in its Noida and Chennai data centers, using L4–L7 load balancing, web acceleration (caching, compression, connection reuse), aFleX scripting, SSL offload and a Web Application Firewall. The result was eliminated application vulnerabilities, substantially faster server responses and an improved end‑user experience, consolidation of multiple legacy ADCs, and capacity and uptime to meet projected growth for the next three years without additional licensing costs.
