SenerTec customers have electricity and heat insights always at hand

SenerTec, a manufacturer of combined heat and power (CHP) plants and market leader with over 37,000 systems sold, faced the challenge of ensuring the long-term, smooth operation of its distributed units. Regular servicing was essential for these plants, known as "Dachs," to run continuously and generate income for their operators, but the company needed efficient remote monitoring capabilities.

A1 Digital implemented a solution using preconfigured Plug & Play routers equipped with M2M SIM cards to connect the CHP units. These routers transmit sensor data to SenerTec's IoT portal, enabling remote monitoring, maintenance alerts, and system adjustments. This provided operators with constant insights and allowed service technicians to respond to issues more efficiently, saving time and money. A1 Digital's solution has already been deployed on over 1,000 units, with SenerTec praising the flexibility and time-saving automation of the connectivity.
