ConRes becomes one of the first organizations to earn CMMC Level 2 certification with A-LIGN

Continental Resources (ConRes), a global IT solutions provider, was required to achieve Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC 2.0) Level 2 to serve federal contractors within the Defense Industrial Base. Their challenge was to find a trusted audit partner that shared their philosophy of accurate and defensible compliance to meet this stringent federal requirement. They selected A-LIGN as their C3PAO (Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization) based on a pre-existing relationship for SOC 2 compliance.

A-LIGN provided a rigorous CMMC assessment, leveraging their deep federal compliance experience and a methodology that ConRes had come to trust. This long-standing partnership and ConRes's own extensive preparation resulted in a smooth audit process. As a result, ConRes successfully obtained its CMMC Level 2 certification in June 2025, becoming one of the first organizations to do so with A-LIGN's assistance.
