Case Study: ZD Events achieves seamless high-volume registration processing with Zetadocs Global

Zetafax helps the show go on at ZD Events

ZD Events, which runs sixty worldwide expos and handles thousands of daily registrations, was overwhelmed by people printing online forms and faxing them back—about 400 faxes per hour (and much higher during Fall COMDEX)—and 56 fax machines couldn’t keep up. To address the bottleneck, ZD Events selected Zetadocs Global and its Zetafax fax-server solution.

Zetadocs Global installed a single Zetafax server (configured with eight 6‑port RocketModem cards providing 48 modems) to route incoming faxes to a high‑speed printer; staff batch-enter forms into the registration database every 12–15 minutes and send email confirmations. The Zetadocs Global solution eliminated the 56 standalone fax machines, virtually removed busy signals, cut maintenance and fax costs, and reliably handled peak volumes of roughly 400 faxes/hour and higher.
