Twitch for Mobile Gaming Vrumble Goes Live With Wowza

Vrumble, developed by Tesuji Games, is a mobile live-streaming app that blends AR, geo-aware features and multi-party video chat so users can broadcast gameplay, shows and classes. The team needed truly interactive, real-time streaming, but standard HLS introduced 15–30 second delays and meshed WebRTC conflicted with their architecture, making authentic, low-latency conversation impossible.

Tesuji implemented Wowza Streaming Cloud with Ultra Low Latency and the Wowza GoCoder SDK, using the Ultra Low Latency API to manage streams and integrations. The result: sub‑three‑second end‑to‑end latency that supports AR overlays, custom audio/video frames, multi-party gaming and integrations with OBS/Wirecast, enabling snappy viewer–broadcaster interaction, monetization via in-stream ads and a scalable platform for expanding Vrumble’s ecosystem.
