The Wild Animal Sanctuary, a 720‑acre refuge near Keenesburg, Colorado that cares for more than 450 rescued large carnivores, regularly live‑streams animal footage to The Dodo’s Facebook audience. Streaming from a remote site caused persistent problems: weak and fluctuating cellular connections, slow upload speeds, and a cumbersome bonded‑WiFi plus Google Hangouts workflow that degraded video quality and left the team with an unreliable, multi‑part setup.

The Sanctuary installed the Wowza ClearCaster appliance in a portable cabinet and began streaming directly to Facebook Live.
