Child Health Imprints Revitalizing Neonatal Care With IoT Streaming

Child Health Imprints, founded by Ravneet Kaur and Harpreet Singh after a personal NICU tragedy, developed the iNICU platform to reduce neonatal mortality by aggregating real-time clinical, vital and video data for preterm infants. They faced a critical technical challenge: deliver low-latency, high-quality video synchronized with medical device data while meeting strict regulatory and reliability requirements for life-critical care and remote monitoring.

To solve this, they partnered with Wowza, using Wowza Streaming Engine and Professional Services to build and document a streaming-enabled, cloud-hosted iNICU appliance. The result is a live video-enabled device that integrates video with clinical and vital signs, enabling earlier diagnoses, faster interventions, reduced human error, and expanded access to specialist care for rural and remote patients.
