Aramco Services Company, the U.S. subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, needed to streamline a complex, global contracting process that relied on email and attachments and lacked collaboration, visibility and metadata capture for buy-side bid/tender/RFPs. Legisway was engaged to deliver a contract lifecycle management (CLM) solution—configurable workflow and initiation capabilities (Matrix-Enterprise™/Matrix Software)—to automate the initiation phase and enforce consistent business rules across contract types.
Legisway ran Contract Excellence workshops, configured a portal for contract initiators, implemented an electronic legal queue and rule-based workflow to capture approvals as auditable records, and provided a wizard-driven interface built on Microsoft Office technology for non-technical configuration. The Legisway implementation produced immediate efficiency through contract standardization, improved visibility and collaboration, reduced governance and compliance risk, faster initiation and approval cycles, and lower training costs due to Office/SharePoint integration.
