Seven Hills Homeowners Association Saves 45 Million Gallons of Water

Seven Hills Home Owner Association, a growing community of 3,000 homes in Dallas, GA, was facing rising water costs and needed a better way to manage landscape irrigation in its common areas and streetscapes. To address the challenge, the HOA worked with HydroPoint Data Systems and selected the WeatherTRAK smart irrigation solution.

HydroPoint Data Systems replaced outdated clock timers with 33 cloud-based WeatherTRAK controllers, giving the HOA and its landscape teams remote visibility and automatic schedule adjustments based on site-specific conditions and local weather. The result was immediate water-use reductions, elimination of over-watering and runoff, and total savings of 45 million gallons of water, along with hundreds of thousands of dollars saved in water bills.
