Case Study: Levi’s Stadium protects its iconic landscape with HydroPoint smart irrigation

A HydroPoint Data Systems Case Study

Levi’s Stadium manages irrigation across 68,500 seats with HydroPoint

Levi’s Stadium, home to the San Francisco 49ers, is one of the largest buildings registered with the U.S. Green Building Council. The challenge was to manage irrigation for its extensive plantings and VIP club area while using the city's recycled water system and protecting the structure below from potential high-flow events. HydroPoint was selected to provide a solution.

HydroPoint implemented a smart irrigation system using its BaseStation 1000 controllers, a PFS flow sensor to monitor for catastrophic high flows, and biSensor soil moisture sensors to ensure plant health. The solution allowed Levi’s Stadium to maintain its sustainable operations and preserve its prestigious green building status.
