Gachina Landscape Management was brought in to maintain the landscape at Hanover Page Mill Road, a LEED Platinum, net-zero electric research campus in Stanford Research Park. The customer needed a way to keep the property’s drought-tolerant landscape beautiful while meeting strict sustainability goals and staying within California’s water allotment, so they turned to HydroPoint Data Systems and its WeatherTRAK smart irrigation technology.

HydroPoint Data Systems implemented WeatherTRAK ET Pro3, FlowHD, and a normally open master valve to enable real-time water budgeting, leak detection, and cloud-based reporting. The solution helped Gachina reduce outdoor water use by 55%, detect and repair leaks that saved thousands of gallons, and integrate water data into the building management platform for better visibility and ongoing efficiency.
