Case Study: Edsel & Eleanor Ford House maximizes water efficiency with HydroPoint Baseline irrigation system

A HydroPoint Data Systems Case Study

Edsel & Eleanor Ford House maximizes water efficiency with HydroPoint in 2015

The Edsel & Eleanor Ford House, a historic estate and museum located on Lake St. Clair in Michigan, faced the challenge of upgrading its aging irrigation system to maximize water efficiency for its naturalistic grounds. They partnered with vendor HydroPoint to implement a new sensor-based solution using Baseline products.

HydroPoint implemented its Baseline system, which included soil moisture sensors and mobile access, to irrigate the grounds using water from Lake St. Clair. The solution maximized water efficiency by delivering only the precise amount of water needed, significantly reducing both water and electricity consumption for the customer.
