Southeast Community College needed a reliable way to produce a monthly, tightly formatted retirement-deposit upload for 700+ employees that required multiple records per person and exact field lengths. Their legacy process—using a report writer, Excel and a COBOL program—became increasingly slow and put a heavy burden on IT, with data collection time growing from minutes to nearly an hour.
