Hampshire College Empowers End-users with an Ad-hoc, Integrated Reporting and Dashboard Environment

Hampshire College implemented Entrinsik Informer to give staff and faculty fast access to ad-hoc reports and dashboards. Previously the college relied on Rocket wIntegrate’s Query Builder, which only supported basic operational reporting, was difficult to share, required IT help, and couldn’t report across multiple data sources — limiting the school’s ability to make data-driven decisions.

Informer delivered a web-based, user-friendly BI solution that natively connects to UniData and SQL, supports custom mappings and security, and lets end users build reports without IT assistance. In under two years the campus created more than 3,000 reports (with Admissions and Advancement each producing 300+), adopted dashboards for real-time visualization, and now uses cross-database reporting to drive enrollment, advising, registrar, and fundraising decisions.
