The candy brand Mentos, in collaboration with Fanta, sought to refresh its brand and connect with younger audiences in Vietnam for the launch of a limited edition Mentos Fanta product. The challenge was to drive awareness, excitement, and sales among Gen Z consumers in key cities.
Partnering with Digital Turbine, Mentos utilized DT Creative Labs to build a gamified mobile ad experience. The solution featured an interactive video and game within mobile ads, ending with a direct e-commerce purchase call-to-action. The campaign, executed through Digital Turbine, achieved a 4% click-through rate and a 14% engagement rate, significantly exceeding benchmarks, and drove total revenue 50% above target within three months of launch.
