Frostwire Partners with Appia on a Mission to Drive Free Content

FrostWire is an open-source BitTorrent client that enables creators and users to share free content directly from computers and mobile devices. Seeking a way to monetize growing app traffic without compromising the user experience or the mission to distribute free content, FrostWire partnered with Digital Turbine to find a non-disruptive monetization solution.

FrostWire integrated Digital Turbine’s SDK and AppWall, adding a native "Free Apps" section to their Android navigation, and began using Digital Turbine’s Via dashboard for daily, transparent reporting. The result was a seamless, in-app experience that drives free, non-incentivized downloads while giving FrostWire granular metrics (impressions, clicks, installs) to optimize performance and increase monetization.
