Case Study: AGCO standardizes global embedded firmware releases with CloudBees Feature Management

A CloudBees Feature Management Case Study

Preview of the AGCO Case Study

AGCO rolls out CloudBees Feature Management to 90% of sites and cuts firmware releases to quarterly

AGCO, a global leader in agricultural machinery, faced a challenge with its globally dispersed engineering teams operating in silos. These teams used different tools and processes to develop embedded firmware for their equipment brands, leading to inefficiency, a lack of reusability, and infrequent software releases. To standardize its operations and build a common workflow, AGCO turned to the vendor CloudBees and adopted its CloudBees CD product.

By implementing CloudBees CD, AGCO was able to roll out a standardized CI/CD platform across nearly all of its global engineering sites. The solution provided full visibility into the software delivery process and integrated with their existing application lifecycle management tool. The results were substantial: release cycles accelerated from once or twice a year to quarterly, bugs could be fixed immediately, and the elimination of duplicate efforts led to significant cost savings. CloudBees helped AGCO modernize its teams and increase both the quality and quantity of its firmware releases.
