Maynooth University, part of the National University of Ireland located near Dublin and ranked among the top 50 universities under 50 by Times Higher Education, sought to attract more postgraduate students and build a 360° profile of what a prospective postgraduate student in Ireland looks like.
Audiense segmented the Irish student community and benchmarked Irish university and postgraduate audiences against global cohorts, uncovering key targeting handles for sponsorships, media planning and PR, and personality insights to inform content: values = self‑enhancement; needs = challenge, structure, self‑expression; Big Five = conscientiousness and openness. The analysis covered 20,600 global postgraduates, 3,163 Irish university students and 593 Irish postgraduates, enabling more tailored and effective recruitment campaigns.
