Adroit Data & Insight set out to track and understand online conversations around the rise of veganism, using the Percy Pig sweets story as a timely example. The challenge was to surface the trending debate, pinpoint the individuals driving the conversation, and produce actionable reporting on the most influential voices.
Using keyword-driven social listening and audience analysis, Adroit mapped the Percy Pig debate, identified the key influencers and audience segments, and produced a clear, measurable breakdown of engagement (45.8% / 38.4% / 15.8%). The work showed that a simple keyword approach can reveal high-impact insights for campaign planning — proving that “Percy Pig” made a big impression online and that attention can be turned into strategic advantage.
