Tampa International Airport - Customer Case Study

Tampa International Airport (TPA), a major Florida airport handling more than 25 million passengers a year and over 600 daily flights during peak periods, was struggling with manual gate management processes that slowed coordination with airlines and made it harder to plan for future growth. To improve efficiency, TPA partnered with AeroCloud Systems and adopted AeroCloud’s Gate Management Systems (GMS) as part of its airport management platform.

AeroCloud Systems implemented a cloud-native, modular gate management solution that gave staff real-time visibility into gate and stand allocations, automated planning based on live data, and alerts for cancellations, delays, and diversions. TPA also used passenger forecasting tools and shared access for airlines and other stakeholders, creating a central source of truth and saving countless hours each week through automation while helping the airport stay proactive instead of reactive.
