7Code partnered with G42, a UAE-based AI and cloud computing company, to address the challenge of providing real-time, large-scale fleet tracking for EXPO 2020 Dubai. The event required centralized visibility across over 200 partners' vehicle fleets for security, logistics, and transport, with no tolerance for downtime during its six-month run. The challenge involved processing a custom device TCP protocol, evaluating geofence rules in real-time, and maintaining a responsive dashboard under heavy concurrent load.

The solution implemented by 7Code was the ESTS fleet-tracking platform, which included a custom TCP server for data ingestion, a rule engine for geofences and custom trip events, and a real-time map dashboard built with Node.js and React Native. 7Code delivered a system that provided real-time telemetry and alerts, trip playback, and bespoke EXPO procedures. The project was successfully delivered for the world expo's entire six-month run following an 18-month build phase and six months of maintenance.
