The Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), an international nonprofit dedicated to improving the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety, depression, and co-occurring disorders, faced the sudden need to replace its in-person annual conference when COVID-19 made gatherings impossible. To preserve its mission-driven education and community engagement, ADAA searched for a trustworthy virtual event platform and selected 6Connex’s virtual event solutions to deliver a polished, attendee-focused online experience.
6Connex onboarded ADAA with a dedicated project manager and delivered a fully customizable, branded virtual environment—handling registration, branded communications, and interactive features—so ADAA could run its 41st annual conference (March 18–19, 2021) with 9 virtual rooms, 32 exhibit/sponsor booths, and 130 sessions. The event exceeded expectations: ADAA reported meeting attendee and internal satisfaction goals, expanded its reach, enabled one-to-one connections via chat and video, and plans to continue leveraging 6Connex virtual environments and explore hybrid formats.
