The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), a nonprofit that leads academic medicine, wanted to reach more millennials and Gen Z prospective medical students and connect them with member schools without imposing travel costs. To do this, the AAMC engaged 6Connex to build a mobile-accessible, configurable virtual medical school fair with private and group chat options and robust, in-depth event metrics.
6Connex delivered a virtual event platform with individual virtual booths, public and private chat, webinar capability and real‑time reporting, enabling broader, more diverse participation. The 2018 event produced 17,000+ registrants, 9,000+ attendees, 11,000 webinar views, reach across 50 states and 52 countries, an average session time of 2 hours 15 minutes and 128,000+ resources downloaded—while giving the AAMC immediate analytics, improved attendee engagement and reliable technical support.
