4screens worked with Thanks God it’s Weekend, a popular Polish comedy show broadcast by TVP, to make the viewing experience more interactive. The broadcaster wanted to use second screen engagement to let audiences take part in judging performances, interact with what was happening on the TV screen, and contribute user-generated content that would enrich the broadcast.
Using 4screens Studio, 4screens built a responsive web app for the show that let viewers rate performances with a 1-to-5 touch slider, see real-time average scores, change their votes while acts were still on stage, and chat with other viewers. The app also asked for age and gender at launch, allowing audiences to compare reactions by demographic group in real time. The case study highlights stronger audience engagement and crowd-sourced content, though it does not provide specific numerical results.
