Crate & Barrel, the Chicago-founded multi-channel home furnishings retailer, needed a better way to manage in-store inventory across its stores to balance large numbers of SKUs with company profitability. The challenge was optimizing replenishment, seasonal/fashion allocations and markdowns to improve store-level accuracy and financial performance.
4R Systems implemented its Profit Optimized Inventory suite — IPMax SR for store replenishment, IPMax SA for seasonal/fashion allocation, and IPMaxMD for markdowns — following a successful in-market pilot and full rollout.
