Family Dollar, a Fortune 300 value/convenience retailer operating over 7,500 stores, needed to improve its margin mix and overall top- and bottom-line performance across an inventory‑intensive chain — and do it faster and cheaper.

To meet that mandate Family Dollar implemented 4R Systems’ Profit Optimized Store and DC Inventory Services (IPMax SR and IPMax DC) using a SaaS model augmented by 4R consultants. 4R executed an evaluate‑prove‑implement rollout across the entire chain, improving inventory efficiency, store in‑stocks and customer service, delivering the projected profit gains and demonstrating scalability (adding ~1,000 stores since 2009).
