Guide Dogs, a charity that helps people who are blind or partially sighted, needed to increase puppy sponsorships during the key Christmas fundraising period. Its media agency, MC&C, looked for a way to find new audiences and reduce cost-per-conversion in social campaigns, with effectiveness as the main goal.
MC&C worked with 4C Insights using 4C Affinities to identify audiences on Facebook most likely to engage with Guide Dogs, then expanded targeting to include audiences likely to engage with competitors. The approach drove a 204% increase in sponsorships, a 223% increase in revenue, an 80% increase in ROI, and a 41% more efficient Cost-Per-Conversion compared with the previous year.
