Case Study: OMICRON achieves efficient worldwide digital-asset collaboration with 4ALLPORTAL DAM

A 4ALLPORTAL Case Study

Access to a Central Database Provides Efficient Worldwide Collaboration

OMICRON is an Austrian manufacturer of advanced electrical testing and cyber-security technologies operating in 160 countries with around 920 employees. The company managed roughly 100,000 digital assets on a sprawling file server with thousands of nested folders, slow previews, complicated permissions and widespread duplication, which made finding, sharing and training on assets time-consuming and error-prone.

OMICRON implemented the 4ALLPORTAL DAM (with an Adobe extension, CSV import and variant management) to centralize assets, standardize roles and automate keywording and metadata. After a six-month rollout and targeted training, teams worldwide now search and download files quickly, enforce usage rights with a “traffic-light” system, eliminate duplicate originals to save storage, and rely on the DAM as the single source of truth for marketing and product content.
