West Ham United opens 15,000-square-foot stadium store with 442 Design

The customer, West Ham United, faced the challenge of creating a new retail and catering experience to support their commercial growth after moving to a new 55,000-seat stadium. They appointed vendor 442 Design to design a high-volume superstore and café that would be effective on both match days and non-match days, starting from an empty shell unit.

442 Design provided a complete solution, handling the concept planning, layout, detailed construction drawings, lighting, and graphic design for the two-level, 15,000 square foot space. The store opened in August 2016 and immediately achieved a measurable impact, breaking the club's record for sales.
