Laemmle Theatres launches a new Drupal 8 site in 2017 with 42mate

Laemmle Theatres, a family-run arthouse cinema group in Los Angeles, faced a challenge with its outdated and unmaintainable website that performed poorly and lacked mobile responsiveness. They engaged 42mate to build a completely new site that could preserve all existing features, migrate current data, and integrate with numerous third-party services including RTS ticketing and FileMaker.

42mate implemented the new site on Drupal 8, providing integrations via REST APIs and custom services. They rebuilt the full infrastructure on AWS and Chef, successfully launching the new site in 2017. Since the launch, 42mate has continued to provide ongoing DevOps maintenance, monitoring, and new feature development for the cinema group.
