42mate migrated the sites to Drupal 9 using a multi-site configuration, which was deployed on AWS with auto-scaling and Terraform infrastructure. The solution included a full rebrand and UX overhaul. The project dramatically simplified editorial workflows by reducing content types from 49 to 5. 42mate also implemented AMP and Instant Articles for social distribution and performed extensive SEO optimization.
