PickMe introduces a unique Taxi-Hailing Solution in Sri Lanka with help of SureLock and SureMDM

PickMe is a Sri Lankan taxi‑hailing service that connects passengers with more than 2,000 drivers via its GPS/GIS mobile app. Facing drivers who were often unfamiliar with smartphones and a risk of devices being misused or tampered with, PickMe engaged 42Gears and chose its SureLock and SureMDM products to provide centralized control and monitoring of driver devices.

42Gears implemented SureLock to restrict devices to approved apps and prevent setting changes, and deployed SureMDM as a web‑based console for remote tracking, software distribution, device grouping and support. The combined solution enabled rapid mass rollout, remote troubleshooting, elimination of device misuse, improved driver efficiency in pickups/drop‑offs, and measurable reductions in support costs across PickMe’s fleet.
