MRF Limited, India’s leading tyre brand, faced device-management challenges in its MRF exclusive stores where sales staff used Android tablets to run an in‑house app for product demos and sales. Frequent Wi‑Fi fluctuations caused the app to fail and devices would not automatically reconnect to alternative networks, while the company also needed a lockdown solution to prevent staff from exiting the app by using back, home or recent apps buttons. To address this, MRF Limited engaged 42Gears and implemented its SureLock and SureMDM solutions.

42Gears deployed SureLock and SureMDM across 200 Lenovo tablets, enabling a Wi‑Fi Centre that automatically switches to functional networks and locking devices to a single MRF application while disabling navigation buttons. The 42Gears solution resulted in uninterrupted connectivity, a 35% reduction in in‑house IT mobility support costs, and a 45% improvement in staff productivity by reducing device misuse, while enhancing customer engagement in stores.
