InfoPanama delivers a tamper proof tablet solution with SureLock and saves costs for Coop of Taxis in Canada

InfoPanama, an IT solutions and integration firm, was engaged to deliver an Android tablet–based system for Coop of Taxis but faced widespread tampering: drivers were changing settings and installing unauthorized apps, resulting in unusable devices and reconfiguration costs. To address this, InfoPanama selected 42Gears' SureLock to lock down tablets and restrict access to settings and app installs.

Using 42Gears SureLock, InfoPanama hid device settings, blocked unauthorized app installations, and used SureLock’s export/import to cloud feature to replicate configurations across hundreds of tablets in minutes. The solution stabilized the software side so support issues are now limited to hardware failures, significantly reducing support effort and costs and allowing InfoPanama and Coop of Taxis to focus on core operations.
