Gore Nitrogen improves driver efficiency with help from 42Gears products

Gore Nitrogen Pumping Service, a mid-continental provider of nitrogen pumping, transportation and fracturing services, needed to replace paper driver logs with an electronic logging system to meet federal regulations. After issuing tablets to roughly 60 drivers, the company required a way to lock down devices, push approved apps and updates, and track tablets to prevent data overages and distractions. Gore Nitrogen selected 42Gears and deployed its SureMDM and SureLock solutions to meet these needs.

42Gears implemented SureLock for kiosk-style app lockdown and SureMDM for remote management, location tracking and support, allowing admins to configure one office device and push settings to the field. The team deployed the solution on 50 tablets in under a minute per device, with offline devices automatically receiving updates when reconnecting. The rollout reduced cellular bandwidth and device maintenance costs, eliminated driver distractions, cut travel time for IT through remote troubleshooting, and freed the IT team to focus on other priorities.
