Aerial Solutions Goes Mobile with Tablets for its Crew, Secured with SureLock and SureFox

Aerial Solutions, Inc., a North Carolina–based family‑owned helicopter rights‑of‑way trimming company, needed to replace slow, weekly paper-based maintenance reports and billing and to deliver regular weather updates to pilots in the field. To equip crews with Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablets while preventing misuse and unwanted apps or web access, Aerial Solutions, Inc. chose 42Gears and its SureLock and SureFox kiosk/lockdown solutions.

42Gears deployed SureLock and SureFox (after a two‑month trial) to lockdown devices, control apps and websites, remotely update configurations, and enable online forms and email. The implementation let crews submit paperwork daily instead of weekly, eliminated paper billing and shipping costs, improved productivity and timely customer billing, and prevented unauthorized use of company tablets.
