FleetOptics, a final‑mile delivery and analytics provider in Ontario that equips drivers with Android smartphones and its FleetOptics Access web tools, struggled with time‑consuming manual app installs/updates, constant device returns for diagnosis, driver tampering, and unauthorized app/data costs. To address these issues they engaged 42Gears and deployed the 42Gears UEM solution.
42Gears implemented Installation Jobs, Remote Support, Kiosk Lockdown and Telecom Management to remotely install/update apps, troubleshoot devices from a central console, restrict device use and monitor data usage; the rollout was completed within a week. As a result, 42Gears helped FleetOptics cut technical incidents by 30%, reduce tablet downtime for fixes from days to minutes, improve real‑time shipment transparency and keep drivers focused on deliveries.
