Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) needed a way to create a strong fan experience across its new 14-week, 12-market tour while also supporting attendees before, during, and after games. To meet that challenge, the league worked with 42Chat and its Curated AI SMS Chatbot to engage fans, answer questions, and help drive ticket and merchandise sales.
42Chat launched “Slash,” an AI SMS chatbot that covered 106 topics and was promoted through social and text notifications so fans could text in for help with rosters, tickets, parking, and more. The solution responded to 3,775 users with over 15,000 messages, delivered 3,500 hours of 24/7 support, achieved a 94.8% correct response rate, and generated a 45% transaction clickthrough rate, including strong engagement on merchandise discount notifications.
