SNCF, a fundamental French transportation service provider, faced challenges with high warehousing costs for obsolete parts, long delivery timelines causing operational downtime, and difficulty gathering critical spare part information. They partnered with 3YOURMIND to implement its Agile PLM solution to address these issues and enable quick, efficient, and low-cost production of maintenance and repair parts.

3YOURMIND's solution established a centralized digital part database and a dual-approach part qualification process. This enabled SNCF to create a database of over 70,000 searchable parts and identify more than 8,500 parts suitable for additive manufacturing. The results were dramatic, decreasing average lead times from 5 months to 10 days and identifying use cases projected to generate a 20.3 million Euro ROI.
