Sonitrol of Lexington and Bates Security partnered with 3xLOGIC to secure Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington, KY — a new, 350,000+ sq. ft. facility with over 90 staff and hundreds of students. Planners needed a robust, scalable system to monitor daytime activity, protect the building and equipment after hours, handle hundreds of cameras, and enable fast, easy review of stored footage.

In 2017 the team deployed a 192-camera 3xLOGIC solution (60 exterior, 130+ interior) with analytics, verified audio and video, VIGIL VMS and VCM health monitoring on VIGIL V7300-series servers. The system delivers double alarm verification, quicker targeted searches, clear images and zoom capabilities; school staff and law enforcement report improved situational awareness, and the school is considering migrating other buildings to 3xLOGIC VIGIL.
